The Lead-up to Pearson Sprinkler Company

Pearson Sprinkler Company is a family-owned and operated business.  We take pride in working hard, providing top-notch customer service, and treating others as we would want to be treated in return.  As each year passes by, we like to stop and reflect on the things that lead up to Pearson Sprinkler Company.

Born and raised in Plano, Texas, Bryan Pearson, owner of Pearson Sprinkler Company, spent a lot of time with his father and uncle, both entrepreneurs.  Through the both of them, he learned the value of working hard, being honest, and the importance of your word and a handshake.  As Bryan grew and while trying to find his niche, he trained as a fire fighter and also became a licensed massage therapist.  It was shortly thereafter that Bryan became intrigued with sprinkler systems.  Bryan took classes, trained and worked hard to learn all he could about sprinkler systems, landscape lighting and drainage and became a Licensed Irrigator and a licensed Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester.

Then Bryan went on a cruise to the Caribbean where he met his wife, Lindy.  It was love at first sight!  Lindy was born and raised in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, just north of Toronto, Ontario.  She grew up the eldest of four children and obtained her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Environmental Science and Physical Geography.  Shortly after meeting, Lindy left her job at an environmental consulting firm in Barrie, Ontario and moved down to Plano, Texas to be with Bryan.  Lindy obtained an entry level position as an Environmental Scientist for a large environmental and geotechnical engineering company, and over time worked her way up to a management position.  It didn’t take long before Bryan and Lindy became husband and wife, bought a home and started a family.

Shortly after Lindy moved to Texas, Bryan decided it was time to start Pearson Sprinkler Company.  Bryan has always been driven by his goals, and this was no exception.  He understood the risks of starting a business, but he was so passionate and excited.  Through a lot of hard work and dedication, Pearson Sprinkler Company has grown and grown each year.  Bryan’s eyes light up every time he talks and talks and talks about sprinkler systems – Lindy often jokes that she has learned all about sprinkler systems just from hearing Bryan’s stories over and over and over again!  Bryan’s optimism, passion and excitement for his goals and the company was so inspirational for Lindy that Bryan and Lindy recently decided that it was time for the two of them to work together.  Lindy now runs the office, answers the phone and keeps Bryan organized.

Bryan and Lindy enjoy working side-by-side and spending time with their daughter.  They look forward to many, many years as owners and operators of Pearson Sprinkler Company.
